Welcome to the web page of the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red (CIBER) in the subject area of Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN).
CIBER-BBN is a research centre whose goal is to conduct research of excellence aimed at ultimately transferring results to industry and at translating them to clinical practice, through the development of the scientific areas of bioengineering, biomaterials and nanomedicine.
General information on Projects and Programmes, the profiles of our research groups and their scientific-technical results, Research Support Platforms we have and which were recently included among NANBIOSIS ICTSs (Singular Scientific and Technological Infrastructures), as well as our transversal programmes can be found on the web page.
CIBER-BBN is made up of a total of 47 research groups of renowned international prestige distributed in Spain and integrated in universities, research centres and hospitals. It currently comprises over 460 researchers.
Our information on this web page attempts to make it easier for researchers and companies to access our centre’s services, as well as to provide information about our groups and projects, in order to enter into possible collaborations with other researchers working in areas similar to ours.
